COMPANY PROFILE

Guan Lee Precision & Marketing Sdn Bhd started in 1981 as a dealer to provide services for all kind of weighing instructments.

Through rapid expansions, Guan Lee Precision Parts Industries Sdn Bhd was established in 1993, to manufacture precision turned parts according to the customers' requirements. In 1995, it developed and manufactured the single dial Spring Scale. In 2000, it produced the double dial Spring Scale.

In 2000, to accommodate its expansion, the Company moved to its new factory, on a 1,140- meter square premises.

In 2006, the Company began to implement Quality Management System and obtained the ISO 9001:2000 certification in the following year. The Quality Management System was later upgraded to ISO 9001:2008 certification.

In 2009, Guan Lee Precision Parts Industries Sdn Bhd achieved success in the designing, developing and manufacturing of the Forklift Scale and Kingpin Lock. A patent application for the Forklift Scale was duly filed, followed by the PCT International Patent Application in 2010.

MANAGEMENT PROFILE

Mr. Siaw started the company single handedly in 1993 as sole proprietorship and changed the company status in 2005 when the business settled down and with a working base of regular customers, began to grow. Working as a technician during his younger days within the metal parts manufacturing industry in Malaysia has taught Mr. Siaw a lot and the experience garnered over the years have let to himself incorporating a company to enter into this industry. With his entire life savings and some borrowings, Mr. Siaw has immersed himself fully into this industry, even to the extent of working along his employees whenever necessary. With almost a decade and a half years of hands-on knowledge, Mr. Siaw is fully experienced in the small parts metal manufacturing industry from marketing to logistics to production.
